The Grace Mercy Ministries team has been organizing and planning since the first day we met so we could meet the needs of others. God knew what He was doing when He called us together to plan and execute. He was preparing us for the time we now find ourselves in. The events of the last few weeks have not caught God by surprise. He was preparing His church, getting us ready.

Situations like these are also why we stress involvement in Community Groups. These people are your tribe, the ones you can call on at a moment's notice in time of need.

It’s important to know that we are compelled by Galatians 6:10 to “do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”  In other words, we must take care of our Members' needs before all others. If you have a need, your Community Group is the best place to start. The next step would be to reach out to us, the Grace Mercy Ministries Team. You can call the church office at (517) 789-6155 and leave a message.

We will work our best to meet your needs with the resources we have available.

If you have children in your household, please note this link for free meals for kids in Jackson County.

Also, if you know of anyone out of work due to Covid-19, please encourage them to contact Consumers Energy immediately and arrange for an alternate payment plan. Here is the link for Consumers.
Additionally, encourage those out of work to contact their other utility providers (water, sewage), lenders, banks, etc. to make arrangements for alternate or delayed payments. If you, or someone you know within our church family, have no food, please contact the church immediately at (517)789-6155.

Final note, a quote from Charles Spurgeon that fits our current crisis very well. Spurgeon wrote, "Happy the storm that causes a man to shipwreck on a Rock such as this."  While we may feel shipwrecked in this moment, let's remember to cling to the Rock, our Lord and Saviour.
