Ten people from Grace Church visited Atenas, Costa Rica and surrounding areas in June 2015, in partnership with the International Mission Board. Primary to the group’s goal was to allow students to share the Gospel and minister to the Costa Rican people. Students traveled to populated areas and shared the Gospel with the help of some amazing Christian translators. Students also visited schools, sharing the Gospel and distributing tracts, working with local Pastors. In addition, each group spent a day providing beautification to the camp in which they stayed by installing a water purification system, building a bridge, and planting trees. One particular ministry partnership involved sharing personal testimonies in front of hundreds of public school students before and after the Gospel was shared. Grace Church students had an amazing experience partnering with the IMB and many Costa Rican Pastors and ministries this June.
